Settings
- Disable Auto-Lock – keeps the screen on while JustChords is open, so the display does not go dark on stage. (Not available inside the AUv3 plugin.)
- Right-to-left – lays out lyrics for right-to-left scripts such as Arabic or Hebrew (see Localization).
- My Instruments – choose the instruments you play. Only these appear in the chord diagram lists and in Chord Library.
- Alternate Guitar Tunings – visible when guitar is selected: pick the alternate tunings (for example DADGAD or Drop D) you want chord diagrams for.
MIDI
Enable MIDI turns on all MIDI features. Below it you find Receive MIDI in Background (keep responding to MIDI while another app is in front; uses extra battery), Virtual MIDI ports, the list of connected devices with their Source and Destination and Bluetooth MIDI pairing. Details: MIDI.
Chord preferences
Notation options such as German notation (H instead of B), the minor preference and the preferred major / minor keys for sharps and flats are song viewer settings: Song Settings → Display → Chord Preferences. See SongViewer Settings and Capo & Transpose.
